Marie led the interior design process, client coordination, and construction oversight of Hardwood, a residential new construction in the Catskills. As a project manager under Studio Magness, Marie led client meetings, sourced FF&E, and closely coordinated with Douglas C. Wright Architects and Pollack+Partners to realize a cohesive interior aligned with the home’s Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired architecture.
As lead interior designer for the project, Marie developed fabric and color schemes, sourced materials, and presented options to the client to make selections. Custom upholstery and drapery were consistent throughout the home due to the custom nature of the built-in, mid-century style architecture. Decorative lighting selections were also key to aligning with the architecture.
